Lisa Olson has been employed for 30 years by the Green Bay Area Public Schools, the first 22 years she was a classroom teacher, and then she became a Technology Integration Specialist. Lisa earned her BA from the University of Northern Iowa in Elementary Education, with a minor in Spanish and a Coaching Certificate. Then she earned a certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay, and her Masters in Technology in Education from Lesley University. Lisa is a Certified BrainPOP Educator, SMART Certified Education Trainer, Seesaw Ambassador, Google Certified Educator, and a Discovery Educator Ambassador. She participates on several STEM/STEAM committees in Northeast Wisconsin, including the Greater Green Bay STEM Network and Women in Technology. Lisa works closely with STEM/STEAM schools in Green Bay to bring technology into every lesson.
