You can help our young students get excited about learning this new language through coding. They can create superheroes on their computer, make a robot follow an obstacle course, and even use a drone to take pictures of their playground for the school’s yearbook. Quizziz

Quizizz is a learning platform and assessment tool that allows teachers to create and host interactive lessons and quizzes for synchronous and asynchronous learning. Quizizz can be designed to assess prior knowledge and a learning experience that meets students at their current academic level. By using the lesson option in Quizizz, teachers are able to plan an engaging lesson to reach the stated class objective. Finally, Quizizz can be constructed to check what students have clearly understood, where gaps are, and any questions that need to be answered or discussed.
Students are able to access Quizizz with a computing device. After giving students a unique access code, a quiz can be presented live in two ways, classic mode or instructor mode, as a timed competition. To use asynchronous learning, a teacher can assign the lesson/quiz with a specific deadline. After the quizzes have been completed, teachers and students can review the answers for feedback. Please bring a computing device to this session for participation and training
