Increasing Media Literacy Skills through PBS Learning Media

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

According to Common Sense Media, teens spent an average of nine hours a day online even before COVID and the start of our mostly virtual world. As a result, media literacy is an increasingly important tool for our students. In this workshop, you will uncover free, standards-based media resources to teach your students in grades 3-12 to become media literate citizens through the PBS Learning Media platform (PBSLearningMedia.org). You will learn how to set up your classroom and create media literacy assignments, gaining access to thousands of resources you can use in your classroom!
