Let's Make Movies - Using Video to reach the YouTube generation

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Do you want to give your students an exciting and creative skillset to show what they know, artistically create and maybe even entertain audiences using an avenue that can provide active and engaged learning, differentiation, collaboration and real world application? This session highlights the video editing platform WeVideo and will provide examples of how teachers and media specialists have worked together on engaging lessons. Student samples will be shared, and we will discuss how video lessons created in WeVideo have been successfully used to teach digital citizenship lessons asynchronously in 2020-2021. Participants should leave with ideas and resources to start using video right away with their students and maybe get a few ideas to spice up any videos they are sending out for their students during this time of virtual learning.
